About the speaker
Dr Carlos Lorenzana hails from Barcelona and has been passionate about materials from a young age. He received his PhD in Chemistry (Materials Science) from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) in 2001 and his MBA in 2006. Since then, he’s been involved in research with focus on tribology, both in the public and private sectors. He joined RIMSA in 2011, setting up the R & D department. Since then they have focused on expanding the knowledge of tribochemistry in the sector.
