ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Dr John Walker is an associate professor in Materials and Tribology at the National Centre for Advanced Tribology Southampton (nCATS) University. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Institute of Physics Tribology committee. His research interests are in the areas of dynamic pressure sliding, metrology for measuring materials behaviour at sliding interfaces as well as novel coatings and failure investigation techniques for aerospace applications.
